Description

Our tourist park is located inside Kosciuszko National Park (Fee's apply) and is just a short drive from Mt. Kosciuszko, Australia's highest mountain. Our Heritage Chalets (2Br & 3Br), Cabins, Caravan sites and Camping facilities are surrounded by a wonderland of alpine bushwalks and amazing wildflowers, all set around beautiful alpine lakes & trout streams. Kosciuszko Tourist Park is just a short 14 klm drive, on sealed and safe roads to Perisher Valley's 47 ski lifts. You can be closer to the slopes without the high cost of on snow accommodation and just a 15 minute drive down the mountain are the shops, supermarket, restaurants, clubs and movie theatre at Jindabyne. Our facilities include a Drying Room available for all guests and Camp Kitchen with a guests lounge and log-fire for your comfort. (Firewood available).

Great location. We stayed 6 nights at the park. It was great in our powered site. Our site was a drive through and close to small amenities and laundry block. Amenities clean and modern and always well serviced. Piping hot showers, which is a massive bonus when staying in winter. Main bathroom area also has a heater and hand dryer. Laundry facilities great. $5 per wash and $5 per dryer load. Lots of wildlife, including inquisitive possums, that this time round enjoyed exploring anything we left outside and wandering on our caravan roof a couple of nights. We were lucky enough to have snow at the park for one night we stayed. Fire pits provided and you can buy wood from reception. Limited mobile reception across most of the sites.

Cheap, 15km drive to perisher valley, we stayed here opening snow weekend. Beautiful modern bathrooms, kitchen has a pool table and wood fire. Stayed at an unpowered site in a swag. Would definitely camp here again.

Great location for exploring the area. Feels like a beautiful bush camp with generous sites and new clean amenities. The fire place hut was great on rainy night.
