Stayed 2 nights unpowered by the river. Gorgeous spot on our own. You need to be fully contained down at the unpowered spot, it's a little walk to toilet and no water taps. There's some residents that live here and pop down to fish at the boat ramp, and will have a chat if you want otherwise they will leave you be. There's a cute little circular pool to relax by and cool off in, toilets maintained and tidy. Hosts are friendly. Dogs allowed (typical rules apply) and you can have a raised fire pit with your own wood.

Heaps of space and options. Nice and green, no issues visiting again.

Mickdoma
Bit of a revelation, easily the best CP in Howlong located about 4km out of town. Set well back off the road, very quiet, especially at night. Owners very friendly and trusting (in no hurry to collect our money). $40pn for a very large drive through ensuite site. Bonus was help yourself delicious mandarins grown in the gardens. Definitely will stay here again.
