Popular in the winter months, Skiers and Snowboarders base themselves at Buckenderra because of its central location. Being just over an hour away from Selwyn Snowfields, Thredbo and Perisher Resorts it is an ideal destination.
Anglers of all types are catered for with some of the best trout fishing in the area located on our doorstep. Buckenderra has a private concrete boat ramp as part of its facilities for our guests to use. No response to phone messages or emails. Their phone message said they are open certain hours but then when you call during these hours the phones are off. People will just book elsewhere.

Family had a absolute fantastic week over Easter, staff was always helpful and happy for a chat to answer questions. Bathrooms clean and bins regularly emptied. Great highlight is being able to go for bush walks in the local area without having to drive anywhere. To top it off Easter Sunday was the Easter egg hunt and plenty of prizes for all the kids!

Stayed 5 nights in a powered site and travelled to Perisher a couple of days (just over an hours drive). lovely serene spot to relax in - it even snowed on us one night! Very old basic facilities and uneven pathways to amenities but showers were nice and hot.
