Set in secluded bushland beside the trickling waters of Pope's Glen, you'll be lulled to sleep at night by frogs singing, and wake in the morning to the call of Kookaburras. You couldn't get much closer to nature - yet the centre of Blackheath, with its galleries, parks, public swimming pool, bookshops and superb cafés, is only a short walk away. Blackheath Glen is our most suitable park for families, camping and large caravans, with a choice of grassy, slab or ensuite sites, and a range of cabin options. Situated high in the Blue Mountains at an elevation of 1065m (3494ft), Blackheath experiences four distinct seasons - beautiful summer days, colourful autumn trees, gorgeous spring flowers and crisp, cold winter nights. Blackheath is well known for an occasional winter snowfall!

We stayed during the week where it was 100% rain everyday. We weren't able to fully enjoy our trip to Blackheath because of that. Apart from the rain, the powered slab site was a decent size and had tree overhanging some sites for shade. The showers took a while to heat up then halfway through our shower it went freezing cold. We had to grab all of our stuff and change to a different shower halfway through. The camp kitchen had appliances and cook tops and also had air con and a TV for shared use. Laundry provided 3 washing machines and 2 dryers - coin operated. Some things definitely need a little work but the park itself was great and positioned in a very practical spot to sight see in the Blue Mountains. Would recommend to others.

Average park nothing much done to it since our last visit 5 years ago, but everything ok.

Just stayed 2 nights here. Booked a powered site and it was nice and flat with concrete and gravel. Amenities are good but get in early for a shower. I was 30 seconds into mine and it went stone cold . It's a 15min walk up the hill to the village with cafes, antique stores etc. Pet friendly on a leash and there are parks at the bottom of the CP or across the road to walk them. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
