I'm a cabin guy. I stay in a lot of them (I travel all over the place with my business). The cabins here are so good it inspired me to write my first review on WikiCamps. Reception super friendly, cabins feel almost brand new. Will stay here anytime I'm in Tamworth.

Office staff friendly welcome. No allocated sites...just "park anywhere down there" the area by the river. The sites are not defined and some had hoses, power cords across them to reach power box, drain. One grey water hose appeared to be running into a storm water drain. Grassy, a bit boggy in places. An old amenities block in this area with only 1 shower in the ladies. There were 4 newish looking ensuites in one building to be used by anyone and another old small demountablle type building. The top amenities block much more nicer. The amenities were clean but the fact that you just park anywhere with some huge vans with multiple vehicles and no security gate so that anyone can drive in wasn't appealing.

Stayed one night in drive thru. Plan was not to unhitch.. but sites are on quite steep and grassy slope which necessitated unhitching. Lots of workers accommodated in cabins and our neighbour for the night was heavy duty vehicle with trailer and excavator. Early morning start for these guys. Amenities are older but clean, park very tidy. Staff all very pleasant
