Since 1976 Timbertown has been a living depiction of a sawmiller's village, demonstrating the struggles and achievements of the Australian timber getters. Timbertown is a recreation to demonstrate everyday life 100 years ago. Camping is available in the Timbertown Heritage Park. Fees apply and facilities include toilets, showers, picnic tables, rubbish bins, fire pits and a dump point.

Great spot, good amenities , firewood and fire pits provided. Supermarket across the road. Powered and unpowered sites.

Most of the unpowered sites were very muddy with a high probability of getting bogged. Chose a powered site instead. Caretaker just came for the money. He didn't give a receipt.
