Description
Pay for your stay at the Tibooburra Country Store prior to going out to the camp. (The Store voluntary helps). The camping ground is located at the historic Aboriginal Reserve located two minutes south of town. There are hot showers, septic toilets and a gas barbecue. Pets and campfires are permitted.
There is a walking track to an historic Aboriginal burial ground, shelter shed with tables and interpretive signage regarding the Aboriginal culture and heritage of the Corner Country.
Drop into the Tibooburra Aboriginal Land Council to book or to collect the key. (Most likely closed - Please pay at The Country Store, main street of town)

Peaceful spot. Camped overnight in tents. Beautiful sunset & sunrise. Well kept shower & flushing toilet. Pay at General Store. 2 Great Pubs in main street. Can buy wood from general store or local resident; truck parked outside house next to caravan park.

6th August 2022 awesome stop over great history of the aboriginal landscape facilities were clean toilets and showers 4 other couples were here would definitely come again. Who ever looks after this area good on you and hopefully others will respect it as we did.
