We are here Christmas Day and there are only two other families here. Absolutely wonderful that it isn't busy! The water in the river is lovely for a swim and the bird life is prolific. Butterflies down near the river as well. We saw a gorgeous kingfisher and typically, I'd left my camera at home!

This was a nice spot until 1, you have to pay a Covid19 tax and 2, idiots rally driving through the camp site. Weekend 1st may 2021, 3 4x4s came driving through and speed just after dark. I took chase but I did not want kick up dust like them so the got away. They just went right through and didn't stop. This is more and more common for idiots to drive kicking up dust through camp areas, mostly young cowboys and cowgirls! You would expect that if you pay for a camp spot it would be ok. Not at this place.

Wouldn't advise at the moment. The final creek crossing was 20m wide, fast flowing and deep water. We turned around. Looks like it would be nice in better conditions.
