Wonderful place! I stayed there couple of days, that was perfect. River offers good fishing spot, in the morning I saw a dozen of dolphins. Went there with a mitsubishi express 2wd without problem. Just go slow. I would not recommend to go there with a 2wd by a wet day but if it's dry you could try. Only bad point, and it is independent from the campground but due to bad campers: heaps of rubbish around several spots and in the toilet...

02/02/2022 Only 600 meters away from campsite and couldn't enter due to wet and boggy ground (in a 2wd van).

Stayed one night from 16-17/01/22. Lovely quiet spot right by Karuah river, camp spots are nice and large and spaced out. Toilet was pretty clean but the seat cover was broken so there were flies all over it. Only issue were the insects, huge flies and heaps of mozzies flying around! Booking needs to be made through Parks NSW, there's just a $6 booking fee. Overall had a really nice stay, would recommend!
