Very remote site we just stumbled on. Right on the eastern bank of the reservoir. Moderate 4wd track to access. Easy in dry condition. We towed an off-road camper in ok. Can be prone to wind, and no shelter unless you stay back in the trees. There are a few level sites in the trees about half way along the Tantangara East trail

Boof & Big Fella
Beautiful spot to camp, has a remote feel to it. Wild brumbies are all around you, which are awesome to observe. Plenty of space to obtain some privacy while other people are there too. The track in is rutted but easy to get to with a 4WD. There's no wood around the dam without having to leave camp and go into the surrounding bush, which is easy enough.
