Awful campsite, awful people and awful track in. The place is a mudpit that's been made into a motorbike track around and through the whole site. It's impossible to find level ground and the site is a mess of food scraps and beer cans and bottles. The complete derelicts that were also staying there would send the kids riding there bikes around the camp site even after it got dark, and when they finally stopped riding they had their cars running to blast music as loud as the speakers could go. Lastly the track in is not suitable to anything other then a 4wd. We had a Hiace with us and it did make it the whole way but not awfully comfortably and not without sliding around coming down some hills.

Don't go on June long weekend if you want any peace and quiet. We came home early as it was packed with a dozen or so families with noisy kids on motorbikes who rode around and around for hours on end (metres away from our campsite) and their parents had extremely loud music pumping until 1am (plus were firing guns). Also stay on the main tracks heading in. Unfortunately our GPS sent us down Trail 21 and it wasn't passable with a caravan.

Recently attempted to camp here, you need a 4wd. Some really awful hard tracks as you enter. A couple of hundred metres before I got to camp sites, the road in had given way and I was not able to cross. Had to do a hairy million Point turn to turn around, ended up camping in the middle of the track on a side road, as was getting dark and didn't feel safe leaving without proper light. I don't recommend bothering ... my nerves were frayed by the end of this.
