The camping area had cleared areas surrounded by high grass and groups of dead timber pushed together. The toilets were pretty dirty.

We came in via nowendoc and top dale rd before turning off on the 22km of fairly ok dirt road. Very misty and rain patches. Had settled down for the night and an hour later a car pulled in a little further down and a woman sounding like some murderous crack whore started carrying on. Was sure we were going to die. Contemplated driving off and leaving all our gear. We didn't die, we didn't sleep either. They eventually buggered off. When morning came we had a lovely breakfast and a walk around the grounds. Saw kangaroos, rosellas, black cockatoos. Drive to nundle for a pub lunch

Lovley drive in. Lots of deforestation. Lovley bird life. Pack very very warm clothes in winter. It's bitterly cold and I love the cold. Very muddy after rain. I drove in with 2 WD
