Head to Polblue campground in Barrington Tops National Park for a weekend getaway. Nearby walks and picnic areas make this a great location for family camping. It's a spacious campground centred around a grassy picnic area, and set away from the main road so it's perfect for camping with children. The campground has caravan and camper trailer sites, as well as scenic tent sites. There are 40 unpowered, unmarked sites . Facilities include picnic tables, barbecue facilities and toilets. Water is not available at this campground so you'll need to bring your own for drinking and cooking. Visitors are encouraged to bring gas or fuel stoves, especially in summer during the fire season. Bookings are not available at this campground. Gathering firewood, pets and smoking are not permitted.

This camp ground has easy access via scone. At the time of writing this, the eastern entrance to Barringtons (Gloucester) is closed off. Signs just up from Moonan Flat indicated 'light vehicle access only' but upon reaching the camp grounds we ran into a couple that made it up with a 7t Iveco with no problems. The incline up to campground provided amazing views and a lots of friendly cattle wondering across the road. At minus 2c overnight we had lots of ice build on our car and awning but the large steel fire pits installed at the grounds helped us stay warm as well as a few cheeky kookaburras that perched up on the pot/kettle arm that sat over the pit. Remember to pre book before heading up

Large open campground - nice location for interesting swamp walk. Very exposed to weather - we had howling wind and cold rain in January. We cooked in the large shelter and lit a fire

Facilities were good with one new toilet block, plenty of room, fireplaces around main camping area. Stayed two nights with few neighbours. Swamp walk was good, beware of feral pigs and horses.
