We just drove out here to see and decided too wet but the real issue is the river red gums. Branches down everywhere after the wind yesterday. Too dangerous to risk. We would not recommend.

Great spot. Not much rubbish at all (unlike previous review) however the bins were full so just take your rubbish with you. Patchy Telstra reception (I had one or two bars of 3G). Stayed overnight on a Saturday, and there were two other vehicles there - friendly locals doing some swimming and fishing. Quiet at night except for some distant tractors doing night work on the nearby farm. Kookaburras in the morning. Would recommend!

As below there are a lot of huge trees and branches down but we picked a spot up on the road away from the trees and camped for the night. We didn't mind, but the phone service is terrible
