Lovely campground, quite remote nested into the bush. Very private sites with picnic tables on paved areas. There were a lot of leeches which was a bit intense to start with but our big family group got used to that. 3 nights was enough for us with kids ages from 3 to 15.

Absolutely beautiful camping, secluded and quiet (apart from the birdsong). It has been raining heaps but the campsites aren't too bad at all. Our only warning, watch out for the leeches! We're from Tassie and have never seen so many in one place, it's definitely because of the weather so if it's wet cover up those legs.

Great place to camp, great grassy sites with paved area including big national parks table, fire pit with quality bbq plate. Fire wood available in the form of timber mill off cuts. A couple of good walks and some tough mountain bike loops. A good 4wd track from Brushy Mountain camp area to Mooraback. Unfortunately the platypus were a bit shy and notable in their absence.
