Description
The spectacular Mallanganee Lookout is situated on the peak of the Richmond Range.
Cast your eyes across the canopy of the wondrous Mallanganee Nature Reserve and Cambridge Plateau. On a clear day you can see Mount Warning and across the coastal region to the east. To the west you can see the Great Dividing Range along the horizon, overlooking the village of Mallanganee.
The site features a picnic table, however there are no other facilities. Campers will need to be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Pets are permitted.

Deadly entrance and exit to the main road. Dirt road up is OK but easy to miss the right hand fork to the lookout which is currently an overgrown couple off goat tracks.

Disappointing as the view is overwhelmed by weeds and trees. The whole area has not been maintained. Not really worth turning off the highway
