What a lovely town. Beautiful lake. We parked behind the council chambers as it was Saturday night. Toilets in the park. Water also available.

I stayed overnight, parked right on the lake. It's right next to the highway but, heard no traffic during the night. Well worth a stay but, get there by mid afternoon. There is only enough room for about six vans. The bakery makes a nice coffee.

Beautiful and well maintained Luke Park is a great 24 hour stop (on the bitumen next to park). The park is next to a lake, has a covered playground, exercise equipment, free gas bbqs and tables, drinking water and toilets nearby. There are goats on the island in the lake, which keep the grass down, but they are fed also and looked after. Ned Kelly and gang was famous in this town. Take a short walk to see the old post office and buildings on the Ned Kelly trail.
