Description
Levuka has been Australia's best kept secret for the past 15 years. From our camping grounds, enjoy spectacular views across the valleys. Levuka is situated on the south-western edge of the "Scenic Rim", an ancient volcanic formation.
There is two wheel drive access to camping grounds, spend your weekend enjoying bush walking and our two creeks with their waterfalls. All the advantages of World Heritage areas while having the convenience of our hot showers and flush toilets. Tents, camper trailers and caravans are welcome.
Levuka has 4WD tracks offering medium to challenging driving conditions through rainforest, open hardwood forest and open farming country. Gullies, creek crossings, playground and a test track are designed to develop skills. NO MOTOR BIKES PERMITTED.
Dogs Are Welcome At Levuka.
BYO canoe and life jacket to paddle in Lake Levuka. Camp fires allowed, firewood is available for purchase. Please bring your own drinking water.

Went a couple days after rain, which rendered most of the tracks impassible unless all you want to do is winch. The "playground" doesn't have anywhere to winch off, so as a solo traveller, we couldn't get in there or we wouldn't have got out. Some fun tracks, but personally I think its needs a bit of upkeep. Tracks are poorly signed, one track was so over grown, I ended up just wandering through a paddock.

Great place for 4wding and a weekend away... facilities are very basic but clean enough and covered our needs, no lighting in toilets or showers. Owners dogs did wander around park which didn't bother us too much...

So disappointing this place could be beautiful but is very run down, overgrown and neglected.
