Description
This rest area is located on the Newell Hwy 38.6km South of Coonabarabran and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. It serves at a parking area to view Hickeys Falls.
Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest ad manage fatigue however they are not intended as camping sites and stays longer than 24 hours are not permitted.
Facilities include: picnic tables, shelter and rubbish bins.

Great spot for overnight camping no amenities so have to be totally self contained. Gravel parking area plenty of room for vans got here early so could pick a good spot. The falls were full due to the rain that we have had looked great.

Lovely spot. Only stopped for lunch but would be a great overnight stop. Not a huge amount of space though. Falls are a nice bonus.
