Description
Greens Point Campground is a free bush camping area on the banks of the Turon River in Sofala.
Facilities include non-flush toilets, picnic tables and rubbish bins. Try your luck panning for gold in the Turon River.
It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed.

Stayed here for 3 nights mid June nice cold clear starry nights nothing a nice warm fire can't fix Plenty of wildlife Roos and cockatoos bring your on firewood not much around Drop toilets fairly clean and bins for rubbish lots of spots to camp by the water

Fantastic bush camping. Lots of places to camp, right beside the river on the pebbles, just up from river or around exploring lots of tracks. Go for a drive around to find the most amazing scenic or secluded spots. Basic drop toilet and a couple of picnic sheds near the main camping area. Literally miles of camping spots.

Fantastic campsite, heaps of spots so no need to be on top of anyone else. Fire pits already set up, non smelly toilet (BYO toilet paper), tables and shelters. No phone reception by the river. Would love to return
