Lovely spot by the river. Peaceful. Fee is paid honesty box requiring cash. Best to put in envelope with identifier as the lady checks asap. Ours was loose cash but was ok after counting and a double check. We didn't know about extra firewood costs but soon found out. Very nice spot. All good. Would come again.

Lovely little spot to camp. Very quiet, very beautiful and the owner is so lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Nice spot at the very end of the camp spots next to the picturesque babbling river. We had a pleasant stay from that aspect. Host was cheerful. Cons: quarry truck noise could be a problem for some folks if camped nearest the bridge/entrance. Toilets/shower...men's toilet cubicles had stagnant ponding water on floor. Difficult to keep trousers out of it. Shower outlet flows are severely and purposely restricted with just a dribble to get wet under. Shower cubicles lacking some basic maintenance and care eg floor tiles falling out. Wife's shower went cold after just soaping up. Not good when it's 12°c. Fee was $20pp which is asking lot for what's offered compared to other stays.
