Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. This paid campground offers toilets and swimming. Dogs are not permitted. It is accessible to camper trailers and four wheel drives. Camping in tents is allowed.

Used to be fantastic camping by the river. That area now closed and only camping is up the hill where you can't even see the river. Ranger could not say if riverside camping will reopen.

Camped there Australia Day . Booked with NPWS . Ranger came and checked bookings . Great camp , long drop dunny was the best we have experienced . Road access from Moruya via Araluen road is blocked by a landslide to east of camp site , near 'Larry's mountain road '

Upper camp ground is open only, you Cant camp along the river
