This free campground offers swimming. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to motorbikes, RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Some spots would be difficult for RVs. Camping in tents is allowed. Sandy camps available. Please bury your poos deeply and ensure toilet paper is either burned or removed. Some white confetti evident.

Just visited this spot yesterday very boggy certainly no good for caravans and RVs four-wheel drive with small camper trailer or tent it looks like the rivers come up and flooded quite often long way to drive in to find you can't get in there. Very wet and boggy.

Definitely not a 4 star location. Access will be difficult for those towing caravans especially if it does not have high clearance due to deep washouts following recent rains. If you are just a 4WD or towing a camper trailer then it is doable but honestly I think there are probably better options

The river is showing the aftermath of floods. Turbulent, brown and running quickly. I agree with the previous post about 4WDs cutting up the camps and creek bed. There are still spots that are pretty - all on pebbles in the camp area but toilet debris was a bit off putting. There is also barbed wire fencing tangled throughout the camping area - you can avoid it. Trees are lovely and shady. I think it will probably be looking good after a break from the festive season. We decided not to stay.
