Fantastic spot!! Loads of space, great river front campsites. Beth and Ben are super nice and helpful. Tight, windy road in, but we got a 22foot caravan in.

Beautiful place right on the edge of a river and surrounded by mountains and beautiful country. Dog friendly and very friendly and helpful owners. We had forgotten the pegs for the awning and Ben and Beth couldnt have been more helpful. The road in had been damaged by the floods and was still under repair but wasn't bad at all really. We came In from the Kempsey end and it's the most beautiful drive. Just don't expect to do 100 all the way. The driveway is a bit steep but was easy with out 20 footer despite earlier reviews to the contrary. You will probably need something with 4wd for a big van though. Big open camp ground that definately isnt squashed in even though we were right on the river bank. We will definitely be back!

We took our large caravan and had no problem getting in even though the road through the area had been damaged in the floods, it's still fine. Beautiful campground, the best spots are right next to the river but you can also see the river from the hill campsites. Surrounded by mountains you feel really nestled in. Took the dog who played with owner's dogs all weekend. The owners were so accommodating and friendly, they even gave us some of the firewood they had collected for their house and they also let us use canoes and kayaks for free. Reasonable fees at $20 and kids free. Lots of signage so easy to navigate and good facilities, toilets and showers. There are a few cool sculptures around too and more being created by Ben and Beth, so that adds to the vibe of the place.
