Dizzys Days

After all those pot holes it's a good place to let your brakes cool down. But if dryer would be beautiful spot to camp. Creek over rise where road tracks are. Got to feed the rooster and chicken that we're looking for food. Beware the road from Tamworth to Grafton over the mountains is atrocious. Pot holes that some places we have to go down to 20klm. That rough even with taking care it turned our kitchen sink tap on. Luckily hubby saw in review mirror but had to find a spot to pull over.

Great little spot, mid week so all to ourselves, we camped down by the creek, minimal road noise and felt safe. Sad to see a lot of toilet paper and rubbish around, a reminder that when it's self- contained it also means you clean up after yourself your toilet paper isn't going to magically break down over night, bury it deep enough, chuck it on your fire or put it with your rubbish. Even if you think it's in a hidden spot animals will get to it and wind will blow it and it's not pleasant for the following campers

For an unmaintained & free campsite it's actually really good. No one else was there so we camped down on the creek and it was convenient having clean running water as well. Water looks like it would get high when it rains though so recommend checking weather before camping there. Wouldn't stay for longer than one or two nights but this is a little gem for someone passing through.
