Roads are aweful condition and potholes can be super deep so be careful. It looks like a shanty town on the way in, there are some good camping spots, plenty of free firewood, and fishing is good aswell. *note that toilets are a no go. You have to go in quite far to get to them on bad roads and they are a hole in the ground so you would be better off with a shovel. There is a lot of camping areas but it is best to stick closer to simmie road if you have large vans, also if you go in too deep you will come across people living permanently out there. Had a good stay but weekends saw the peace and quite go replaced by motorbikes screaming around.

Only went for a look. It is a bit muddy in places as it's been raining but wouldn't hesitate to bring van back if we weren't staying with friends. Simmi Rd or Looker Rd are the ones to take to access the area. Looker will take a bit longer to get to Christie's Beach but the Simmi Rd entry is a lot wetter.

Great camping spot. Firewood scarce so bring some in. Plenty of room. Very muddy after recent rains but still able to get van in. Clean toilets nearby. Note there is a rubbish skip for campers near east boat ramp on road into echuca
