Description

Carcoar Dam is located on the Belubula River, about 6km from Carcoar and is named after this historic settlement. The dam is situated in an attractive setting, providing an ideal site for many types of outdoor recreation. Water sports such as swimming, power boating, sailing, sail boarding and water skiing can all be enjoyed on the dam. Fishing is another popular activity and the dam is stocked with golden perch, trout and murray cod. Free camping is available on the lake foreshores. Facilities include toilets, cold showers, rubbish bins and boat ramp. Pets are permitted.

Gorgeous spot. Toilets, showers and skip bins..

Camped here because the publican of Carcoar Hotel said it was too wet to camp out the back of the pub. Only 8km from Carcoar. Still close enough to visit town.

Awesome camp spent couple of day here took kayak out for the first time magic spot plenty of rabbits running around of a night dog had trouble settling down clean toilet
