The Strand is the place to stay if you are visiting Sydney. Our rooftop deck is the ideal place to start your Aussie traditions, throw a steak on the barbie and sink a beer watching the sunset.
The Strand Hostel offers a wide selection of rooms including Ensuites, Doubles, 3 and 4 shared dorm rooms and 6 shared dorms.
All rooms are kitted out with new beds; clean linen and ceiling fans to keep you cool on those warm summer nights.
The Strand Hostel has it all; kitchen and deck if you are the Jamie Oliver type or pop downstairs to the bar and bistro and let someone else do the work for you!
We offer 3-bed, 4-bed or 6-bed mixed dorms at a reasonable price. We also offer 3-bed and 4-bed private rooms. Lush carpets, sturdy bunk beds with comfortable mattresses and ceiling fans for those summer months make these rooms a great, affordable choice for your stay in Sydney.
We offer private rooms with shared bathrooms or private en-suites. They feature a comfortable double bed, private mini fridge and coffee/tea amenities.
Please be aware there is a $50 key deposit required on check-in. This will be returned on check-out, provided guests return their key.
