Description

Nestled amongst established trees and gardens, with Batemans Bay township an easy 10 minute walk away, Batemans Bay Holiday Park provides the perfect base for experiencing the natural beauty and attractions of the NSW south coast. Batemans Bay Holiday Park offers a range of affordable cabin accommodation and sites to suit both tents, motorhomes and caravans. It's the ideal choice for a relaxing weekend getaway (especially from Canberra) or for a family holiday. Your children will love our playground and pool, and enjoy the many parrots that visit for a birdseed treat. There are many great activities for kids nearby. And your pets will enjoy being able to come on holiday with you. We have a limited number of cabins where small, well-behaved dogs are able to sleep inside. Pets are also welcome in your own caravan or motorhome. It's best to check with our Managers, Ray and Cathy, and your pets need to follow a few Park rules. So if your'e on the road with your best mate (and the better half too) make Shady Willows Caravan Park your pet-friendly place to stay. Within the Park is the Batemans Bay YHA, a popular place for backpackers to take time out from the city, or stop over for a few days on the coastal trip from Sydney to Melbourne. You can meet other travellers and even some local Aussies. We're close to some iconic attractions, several National Parks, and unspoilt beaches, and there are loads of things to do.

New owners only been here for 18 months. A lot of potential but lots of work to be done. Permanent sites an eyesore but some lovely plants and trees around. Approximately a 10 minute walk into town. Got caught unexpectedly in the rain but the 861 Busdriver drove us right to the entrance. How good is that!! 11 out of 10. Park is on corner of two streets and very noisy during the day but settles down at night. Meals at Soldier's Club disappointing- fish and chips fatty and no salad or vegetables included however the Club itself is very tastefully furnished. Cheap fees compared to Big4 but certainly not worth being any higher- in fact overpriced for what you got. TV reception very, very poor. Limited channels and lots of pixelation. Stayed one night in the hostel, not the best experience half the toilets were closed and the shower I used blocked and brown water started flowing up seconds after turning it on. Keys also stopped working on our first night so we almost got locked out a number of times, under up just leaving the door open. Wouldn't stay again though the staff were lovely!
