Lovely little park for o/n stop. Back from highway, so fairly quiet. Amenities clean. Pauline and Leighton very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

What a great park. Leighton & Pauline have been providing wonderful service for many years. From the smile at the check in desk to the jokes as he guides you to your site. Then the scones to have with your cupa just delicious. Located just off the highway so very little noise but still only a short walk to the club's, shops and cafe's.

Liked it... spent two nights. Clean dump point. More in the shop than the supermarket in town! LPG at $19.00 for guests. Good drive throughs. Only down side...Leighton - please dont leave the scones outside the van (unwrapped) when we arent there. Would go back! (Also check Double D park on other side of town) - imho a bit better...

Wonderful little park, very clean ammenities and laundry, lovely owners who made us feel welcome with our big bus, even when all the vans come in the arvo it's still quiet. Water, tv aerial, power all for $27 per night. Easy walk to town. Those Jam and cream scones are a tasty bonus. Shaz N Pete

Having spent several months in Qld paying high prices for little value it's a pleasure to come 'home' to the Double D. Run by 2 of the nicest lunatics you will meet who focus on service, value & the customer. Many Parks could take a lesson. Do yourself a favour - don't go past. We'll be back, if only to see what these lunatics get up to next!!

This little gem gets 10/10 from us. Love bush camping but if you have to be 'in' then dont drive past this one. All comments are spot on, a lovely bush backed setting, just round the corner but far enough from the Newell to be quiet. Best nights sleep I've had for the whole trip. Check out the camp kitchen whilst here. Wow!

Great little park. Arrived late and tired. Hosts made us feel very welcome and literally showed us to our site. Facilities are a little dated but very clean. Well worth the stop. We'll definately stay again.

What a great park and owners. These cold nights and they have HEATED SHOWER FLOORS. Easy walk to the local clubs for a great meal. We will be back. Thanks Pauline and Leighton.
