Great little park. Arrived late and tired. Hosts made us feel very welcome and literally showed us to our site. Facilities are a little dated but very clean. Well worth the stop. We'll definately stay again.

What a great park and owners. These cold nights and they have HEATED SHOWER FLOORS. Easy walk to the local clubs for a great meal. We will be back. Thanks Pauline and Leighton.

One of the best parks we have stayed in, great hosts, very clean amenities with lovely hot water, TV cable, top bbq area. We feel at home here, and look forward to staying again soon. Always enjoy the lovely scones with jam and cream. Congratulations Pauline and Leighton, on a very well run park!

Before we leave should have mentioned the BBQ area with special lighting and I am accessing the internet on their FREE WiFi. Pauline and Leighton are the best hosts we have come across. Thanks for the stay. Tom and Mary.

Pauline is back from her holiday so now you will be getting her great scones again at 4.00 pm most days, instead of Leighton's cooking

Lots of drive through sites close to town, amenities clean agree with JH555. Owners very friendly with lots of good advice and will guide you in to parking spot if wanted, nice and level.

Agree totally with LAD, as long as both of us can attract more travelers to the town it matters not where they stay. We as the other park does, refer each other if needed. Each park has its own benefits for you. Safe travels all.

What ever I posted it was never my intention to in any way to down grade or negatively effect the other caravan park. They are doing a great job in attracting more customers to the town If I did so I apologise.

Hi BarpeCan you tell me where I posted incorrect prices for the other park? Our price has been $27 for a couple for the last 3 years, Double D I believe have now reduced their prices from what was $29. We have always had a good relationship them as we want people to stay in the town no matter where they stay.

The managers of this park need to check their facts. They have posted the incorrect price for the other park in town and implied that the unhappy campers must have been at the other park. We stayed at the other park for the last two nights- wonderful welcome and lovely park. Cheaper than this too. A pity to see this forum misused by park owners.

Lovely park close to highway but road noise not an issue. Stayed 2 nights & enjoyed the scones jam & cream at 4pm each afternoon. Easy walk into town.

Nice overnighter, friendly park owner/managers. Good clean amenities. Walk to Gold Mine site. Recommended. Owner will guide you onto your site efficiently if wanted. Only downside is we were looking forward to the scones others had all mentioned and there were none. Maybe next time?

Good quiet park, old but tidy, preferable to the bigger towns, no scones

Stayed last night great park, fab owners and the scones were wonderful. Do not miss this park no need to bypass Peak Hill if going south drive to Parkes and take detour via Cowra. Short walk to rsl for Chinese meal.
