Good level sites. Facilities are good and clean. Great value for money. Be aware of train noise at night.
Train into Ipswich and Brisbane 75min
2nd time here. Cost effective for families at $15 per site. Drakes supermarket behind main street does free morning tea of a Wed. Support this lovely community minded supermarket.
Good grassy areas, good, clean toilet & shower ( great water pressure), close to town, $105 weekly. Thankyou Rosewood
Love staying here when hv local appointments hv us in the area Close to rown ..great price ..grass sites .. clean ammenities .. dump point n free wifi Visit this time spoilt by people who think the rules about restraining dogs n cats dont apply to them
Does the State Natural Resources Act apply to all Showgrounds? Council as well as privately leased Showgrounds? ie. 7 day limit.
Back again for the fifth time, great spot filling a low cost alternative.
Great camp. Love trains no hassles. Nice showers. Nice people. Lovely town. Will return.
Good camp, apart from a few trains at night however it is what it is and the positives far outweigh the negatives. Very friendly caretaker that collects the money at night and a good source of local knowledge
Lovely spot to stay nice grassed area Clean ammenities friendly guy from Lions who collected our money Bonus free WiFi
Loved Rowewood, nice, large grassy, fairly level area. Excellent spotless, amenities until the horse people came in & just let their children run riot in them, climbing on & breaking seats & leaving toilets full of & covered in poop, disgusting, no parental supervision. A bit of rail noise which you get used to, walk to shops. Recommend weekdays.
Great stop. Trains noisier at night but got used to it on day two. We tent it so to be expected. Easy walk to town. Very clean and plenty of room. Friendly and spent money petrol good prices. Pub meals good. Thanks
Stayed 3 nights, fabulous spot. Best hot shower Ive had for ages. Lovely friendly town. Caught the train to Brisbane for the day, 1.5hrs in. Thanks Rosewood for the great facilities and free wifi to boot
Stayed here a week. Yes you hear the trains, but its only a few seconds. People do need to make a living. Excellent facilities. So nice to see smaller country towns surviving. Put your local purchases dockets in the wooden box @ the toilets so they can see what $ its bringing to the town. Thank you Rosewood we will come again.
Enjoyed our 2 days here. Yes the train is loud and shakes the van but still a great place to stay. Well done Lions. Thank you also to Ipswich Council for the free wifi.
One of the best places we had stayed 7 days, walk to shops, rail station To visit Brisbane. Friendly caretakers, and meet councillor D Pahlke great guy will be back
Clean, tidy, great place to stay, short walk to town
OFFICIAL NOTICE - this campground will be closed from 25th June until 5th July due to the local show being held. Rosewood Lions Club
Great spot, clean, tidy quiet. Toilets and showers clean. Plenty of space. Well done.
Great spot, wow $15 power and water and of course great weather for those looking for it. Well done Rosewood.
Nice spot with plenty of flat sites and good clean toilets. Keep any local receipts for justification of value of place. If there were a few marks on ground it would stop people taking up 2 sites. For $15 p/w hard to beat. And a train station just up the road with lots of services directly to Brisbane. I will come again.
No room 3 vans taking up 6 sites all parked wrong
I thought I was not going to like staying here, but after our week was up, actually disappointed to leave. But seeing as an immediate family is still in hospital, we will be back again so as to stay close to the area. Dont forget to keep your shopping receipts to help keep the place open
Lovely well kept Showground, toilets and showers spotless.
Found it a great place to stay at $15 per night. Lions club come around late and collect fees. Apparently a 7 day limit imposed by Ipswich Council. Plenty of sites but limited sites with water. Didn't hear trains but am used to them. Grew up beside a main line. Will be back. Free wifi. Toilets & shoewer clean and recently painted..
The best kept secret in Qld. Dont tell anyone.
Real good place to stay, two people for $15 a night with power and showers
No point camping next to a train track and expecting no trains. I must be a heavy sleeper did not hear a thing, lucky me ;-) ;-)
Very noisy with trains all hours, local next door playing loud music until 3am and teenagers screaming after leaving pub. If your a lite sleeper you'd be better going elsewhere.
We enjoyed a week here as we had business to attend to around the area. Spotless amenities, free wifi, well grassed sites, managed by local Lions Club. Thankyou Trevor for your very warm welcome. Train station handy as are all the shops you might need. Congratulations to the community.
